Free for a year!!!

We have a new chick-fil-a at the district!
Jeremy loves chick-fil-a so much that he told me all about how the first 100 people in line get free chick-fil-a for a full year. Jer being the raving fan that he is thought that that would be so cool. Yesterday and his way to work he called me and said there are only like 5 tents set up so far (people could start setting up at 6:30 the morning before). I told him we should just go and do it after he gets off of work. Needless to say I rushed home from babysitting Jer got off work 2 hours early and we were at chick-fil-a at 6:00pm. Miranda loves chick-fil-a too so we made her come along with us and Sam Snarr came too.
To go along with this game you must follow some rules. We had to have everything in our area and out of our car before we could check in. We were running around and laughing so hard trying to get everything out of the car into the spot the gave us. We were number 32,33,34, and Sam was number 49.
We got our tent set up and jumped right in because it was freezing out side and really windy too.
The had a DJ there and we had this huge dance party and here I am doing the YMCA. It was so much fun I love dancing outside when your getting rained on. Everyone was having a good time, we played lots of games, and of course Miranda and I couldn't stop laughing until the wee hours of the morning.
This is us standing in line to take roll call. They did this often while we were there to make sure no one would leave and come back, we weren't even aloud to go back to our cars. At 10:00 the feed us chicken nuggets and at 11:00 we had an ice cream social.
This is Jer and I setting up our bed. I still can't believe that I spent the night in a parking lot outside chick-fil-a. It was so much fun and totally worth it too.
These ladies brought a TV so we could watch American Idol we sat in the freezing cold with one blanket on for 2 hours. BRRRRRR........ We are so sorry that David A. lost, but as I stated on channel 2 with KC it was worth it because we get free food. Because I said that one the news my
Dad had to call me to tell me he shed a tear and he was so happy that his daughter knows that anything is okay as long as you can have some free food.
This was us laughing so hard we were crying. Oh good times I just wish the 8 year old next to us would stop yelling at us to shut up.
This was the site in the morning around 5:00 am when FM 100 woke us up. We lined up for one last roll call got shirts and hats. The news crews got ready and we were so excited to finally get our prize that we waited 12 hours for.
This is us and our free year of chick-fil-a combo meals!! We get a combo meal once a week until next May 22!! So one last think to tell you all EAT MORE CHICKEN!!!

Taking steps for Charlie steps.

5K for Charlie cooper!! Here is the big man himself! He is so sweet and precious I was so touched by how many people came to support this little boy. Charlie holds a special place in all of our hearts and we love him dearly. We doubled the size of this race and think there was like 300 people there for him. We all wore matching gray shirts for Charlie. It was a lot of fun and I thank my Mom for this idea she had for all of us to run in the 5K.
Jer and I right before the race. I could believe how many people where there with the gray shirts on it was awesome!
This is the mass that was there for Charlie! He sure has a lot of support.

Adam, Jer, Jess, and I lined up to run to bad Adam and Jeremy left us in the dust.
Everyone from our family was there supporting Angel, Rob, Britty, Charlie. MyKelle and Izzy held hands and ran the whole way! I'm so glad these two cute little girls are such good friends.
Even my cute Papa was there! Good for you Papa, we love you!
At the end of the race Shani gave me 25 raffle tickets to see if she would win anything because she had to go to work. It turns out that her tickets won like 7 or 8 prizes! I had a lot of fun and I couldn't believe I ran almost all 3 miles! Maybe next year I won't take my walk break and just run the whole way! Good job to everyone who participated and we thank you for coming out. I hope we can all return next year and show our support for many others who need our support. This was just my view from the race, if you want to know more about it go to Charlie's website at charliecooperjackjack.blogspot.com.
