A funeral, a month older, and a new year!

On Sunday December 12, 2010 we got word that Jeremy's Grandpa (the one I posted about in November) had a major heart attack and most likely wasn't going to make it through the night. Jeremy headed down to St. George that night with his brother's, Mom, and Todd. They got to the hospital around 2:00 AM and they were able to talk to Grandpa and say their good-bye's. Grandpa was being himself and joking around saying how he couldn't go home because he hadn't counted all the ceiling tiles yet.
Grandpa held on to until December 18, 2010 when he passed away. Grandpa was an amazing person and I'm so grateful for the example he was to me and everyone around him. He always made sure that you felt like you were the most important person when you talked to him. I heard so many times from him how I made the day, or how perfect I was, and how beautiful my family was. If you knew Grandpa too I know that you heard those exact some words.
His passing was really hard for me and I miss him so much. The funeral was really nice and some sweet words were said. I'm so grateful for the plan of salvation, I know that Grandpa is preparing a way for us and I can't wait to see him and hug him again! Thanks Grandpa for everything, "You made the day"!
While in St. George Cambree went swinging for her first time and loved it!

Bath time with the cousin's!

She is so happy and playful after her bath!
well... I know this is a month late (because today Cambree is really 9 months old) but this is Cambree's 8 month photo.
At 8 months Cambree clicks her tongue and spits like crazy! She is still not crawling, but she will get there soon. She is very attached to her Daddy, loves to read books, her most favorite thing is the mirror she could laugh at herself all day! She Loves to eat applesauce and banana's. Hopefully she will enjoy other food soon. Cambree is at a really fun age, she talks to herself all the time, and is still very jumpy. She has the most beautiful smile and a sweet little girl! We love you Cambree!

On New year's eve we went to my mom's house for a little party.
We made homemade pizza's
and played a little kids dance game
Happy new year to you all! May it bring everything you want!
(Chris I hope this post kept you busy at work)

Trim the tree and wrap the presents, turn the Christmas music on...

Christmas Eve Eve
Cambree was so much fun this Christmas she loved the wrapping paper, the lights, the sounds, but not too sure about Santa! Here she is reading the "Night before Christmas".
I wanted to get a nice picture of her in front of the tree with presents, but she wouldn't leave them or the decorations alone!
Don't you LOVE her present PJ's? I do!! She was our little Gift this year!

CHRISTMAS EVE
My family does Christmas eve at my Mom's house so we can spend all Christmas day with our families and our in-law's. Thanks Mom for keeping the tradition of going to Grandma's on Christmas Eve, that was one of the things I always looked forward to when I was a kid. I know that Cambree will too!

This year my funny siblings and I thought it would be a riot if we convinced my parents to buy each other's IPAD's. We made the parents open their gifts first because we couldn't stand it any longer! We all had a good laugh and then laughed even harder when my mom announced that they had to return one because they could just share an IPAD. "yeah right" my Dad said to her. I think she is happy now that she doesn't have to share her new toy!

We also gave my mom family pictures on the beach in Oregon when you go this summer! We found a photographer in Newport and we are super excited to take them! We told my that she can choose what she wants everyone to wear, however she said sundress for the girls so I think we might have to take that back into our hands!
She wouldn't stop eating her presents!
We told her to stop eating her presents and she gave us this face...... So she ate the presents. I mean come on I can't say no to this face! I'm in trouble!
She loved all her presents and pulled her self up on all the boxes! She thought she was so cool because she was standing by herself!
Katie and Darin gave Dad the ultimate gift....
The LEG LAMP from A CHRISTMAS STORY! My Dad searched all over the Wasatch front for this lamp. Darin had some hookup's with Walgreen's and snatched for my Dad! He was giddy!
We still go to Grandma Gines' for dinner, a HUGE game of white elephant, video games, and Santa!
This year we had 40 people in the white elephant game, I think that is a record!
At one point in the game Gage got this pink doll set and he really wanted to keep it, but sadly some little girl took it from him and he ended up with a Nerf gun. poor kid.
All the great grand kids with Grandma and Grandpa!
Cambree didn't want to have anything to do with Santa this time!
CHRISTMAS DAY
Cambree was all smiles Christmas morning, she knew Santa had come and left her presents!
She is wearing a hat the says Baby's first Christmas
Cambree got lots of fun things this year!
She loves her Big Teddy Bear

Daddy gave cambree a cute pink tu-tu!
Jeremy and I got a big LED TV and a Blu-ray player. I also go an Ipod touch!
Sadly, I don't have any pictures of Grandma Ann's house! Dang it! We went to Ann's house and had a YUMMY breakfast. Cambree got some fun toys and super cute clothes. I got stampin up's digital scrapbooking, and Classes to take to learn how to use my awesome camera! Thanks Ann you are the best! Also, our step brother and sister-in-law announced they are preggers! Congrats Jed and Amber we are so excited for your first baby and that Cambree will be so close in age to him/her!

1st part of December updates

I can't believe that I haven't done a 7 month post for baby girl! She is eating solid food a little bit better and she is still loving life. She is my happy baby and loves to be with Mom and Dad. She is not very interested in crawling, but really interested in you holding her. She still loves to jump in her jump-a-roo so high, she loves to go outside, and loves to be talked to.
We got Cambree some Christmas pj's and I had to get a picture with her in them next to the tree!
We had our Nordfors family Christmas party and had a lot of fun. Good food, great company, and a jolly fat man! What could get any better? Thanks family for making our party so much fun!
Carson got a huge teddy bear from Santa at the party!

Cambree sitting on Santa's lap for the first time. She just stared at him for a second then started to cry.
I just think these next shots are so cute!

My cousin Megan was able to take some great shots of my family! Thanks Meggie they turned out great!

I also got back Cambree's 6th month pictures and I haven't posted them yet. So I just wanted to share some with you! Kevin Lunt from www.Kevinluntphotography.com took these pictures of Cambree. He is amazing and did such a great job with Cambree. We are very VERY happy with the way the turned out. I would recommend Kevin to anyone looking for a great photographer!

And Cambree wants to wish you all a late Merry Christmas!

Thanks for stopping by! More posts coming soon!
