Happy Birthday JO-JO!

Today is my beautiful Mom's birthday!

My Mom is the best Mom in the whole world! She is also the funniest Mom in the world! She is so kind, caring, fun, goofy, and amazing. I'm so happy the Heavenly Father blessed me with a great Mom such as her. She is always there for me whenever I need her. I call my Mom all the time to ask about cooking, laundry, cleaning, crafts, and just about any other situation that might arise from my crazy life. Growing up I thought I was a Princess ( I still do), but my Mom will always be my Queen and I love her so much.

My Mom is such a great Grandma to 3 silly grand kids. She gives them anything they want and will help them with anything she needs. She loves them and they love her!

Jo loves nothing more than to vacation with her family. This past year we went on a ton of vacations! Mom is a great planner and makes sure that we have every dinner and activity planned. She loves to have fun and explorer new places. The best vacation we went on was a trip to Oregon where of course our motor home broke down. The sewer tank blew out and some guy was trying to replace a tire and Mom saw Sewer "stuff" running towards the guy. Mom kept putting paper towel on the ground to stop the "stuff" from touching the guy. (GROSS) Fell free to share your funniest Vacation moment with Jo Gines!

Mom is an amazing cook she has tried and tried to teach me, but it just goes in one ear and out the other. She is the Queen of killing I swear show her a stain and it stands no change against my Mother.
Mom always did the not so fun stuff around the house, clean up puke, kill the spiders, fix my pain, cook, and try to make us kids help her clean the house. I hope one day I can be "a strong Edman Woman" like her.

My mom is so out going and loves life. She has been through so much and can give you advise on almost anything you ask her about. In High school my Mom was the rad Mom, everyone loved her and wanted to come play at my house because my Mom was cool. She fed our friends by the dozen I know most of my friends would come to my house just to eat and then leave. They would all call her Mama Jo and they thought of her as a 2ND Mom! Thanks for being such a cool Mom.
She has supported me in every play I have been in! She was at every play at woods cross every night and even backstage helping with food. She was at Rodgers when ever she could make it.
How is my Mom Super Woman? Thanks Mom for being so awesome with us as your 4 kids I don't know how you are still sane. Thanks for teaching me everything I know and for teaching my example. I know I can come to you whenever I need help, advise, or just need to talk to someone. You are truly the best! Happy Birthday, I LOVE YOU!!

Cents of Style

Last night I went to an awesome party! I love finding deals on everything, but when I can find a deal on accessories it just brightens my day. I wanted to share this awesome company with everyone. They name of the company is Cents of Style they sell really cute and fashionable shoes, handbags, headbands, and jewelry the best part is the price. At the party they just filled the living room with accessories and then you just take what you want. I like that I didn't have to order things, I took what I wanted home with me that night.
Shoes are anywhere between $10 and $15! Boots last night were 2 for $20! I wanted to buy one of everything. Also the nice thing about the shoes is that if your size is not there they can order it for you. They had some of the cutest spring shoes last night.
I love the Jewelry they sell. You can get earrings for $5, necklace for $7, or a necklace and earring set for $9! I won't tell you how many sets I ended up buying!

Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a sucker for cute handbags! They sell them anywhere from $10 to $15! I had so much fun at the party and now I will have accessories with every outfit, but the best part was I didn't spend a lot! You can check out there website at www.mycentsofstyle.com
I want everyone to have cute accessories like me so on June 11 I will bet hosting a Cents of Style party at my awesome Mom's house in bountiful. Let me know if you would want to come!
Hope to see everyone there!

Happy Birthday Travis!

Today is Travis' 28th Birthday! What a big boy he is now. Well what can I say about Travis? Natalie asked what I was going to say about Travis because she is afraid that I have nothing good to say about Travis. Wrong Natalie is I have a lot of good things to say about my brother Travis.
I do have a lot of stories that I could share both good and bad, but I would like to share some of my favorites.
I'll never forget the time that Travis:
*Taught me hurdles in track he was determined to make me the next Track star.
*Would make me sit down and play Chess, video games, and Hero Quest.
*Would attack me with Nerf guns the second I walked into the house.
*Built forts inside and outside of the house. He even made an Igloo outside one Winter.
*Sleep outside in a tent with full hookup's so he could have a TV and play his Nintendo all night
*Would wrestle us like we were on a wrestling team. No matter how hard I would cry he would just pin me to the ground and poke me in the chest until Mom would pull his hair to get him off me.
Many other fun stories come from him. We has so much fun growing up even though he teased me ALL the time. Travis always had a game for us to play or an adventure to go on.
Travis is a great Brother and I love him so much. I have learned so much from him. From a very young age I've learned from Travis' example I learned to wake up early and get my chores done so I could play sooner. He showed me how to be brave when I got hurt and to "Suck up my pain". The best thing I learned from Trav was how to be strong in the Church. Before his mission everyone would call him the Prophet, but he was the best example for me growing up.

Another thing that I love about Travis is any time you mention a Vacation or just a family get together he gets so into it. If you ever do something with Travis you know how excited he gets about things. He loves to turn Sunday dinner into a night of video games and a bunch of trash talking. He loves challenge and competition. He is such a joy to be around these days and he makes me laugh so hard.

Travis is such a great Daddy to cute little Addison and a wonderful husband to Natalie. I wish Travis that all his dreams will come true! Happy Birthday Travis! I love you!

Snow Shoeing

On Presidents day I wanted to do something fun in the snow. Jeremy, Bath, Sam, and I all went snow shoeing to Dog Lake. This was a 6 mile hike in the snow, but I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. I wanted to thank Sam and Bath for putting up with Jeremy's out of shape wife.
This is the beginning of the hike notice that I have a big smile, it's because I had energy at this point.
Here we are dressed in our snow clothes and shoes. Thanks to George and Ashley for letting us borrow your shoes.

Sam and Bath goofed off the whole time they were so funny. At one point they were pretending to lead a marching band, they kept me entertained.

Yeah!! We finally made it to Dog Lake! (why does Sam have to point in every picture?)

Sam and Bath doing flips off a boulder while I take a rest. I had a lot of fun even though I was sore from the hike. It was so pretty up there and I'm glad Jeremy and I were able to spend a day off of work together. I love you babe thanks for the fun day.

Happy Birthday Natalie!!

One year older and wiser to Happy Birthday (clap) to you! Yes, I just got out of Primary.

Today is Natalie's 26th Birthday. She has been in our family for almost 6 years now, Wow how times flies when you are having fun. Nat is so much fun to have around and I love how she keeps Travis in line. I've learned so much from Natalie she taught me how to work my way up the Marriott  chain and how to deal with mean people on the phone. She is currently teaching me how to be a super Mom and helps me with my cooking skills.

Natalie is so creative and loves to do crafty things, which by the way always turn out so cute. She is so smart, cheerful, and a joy to be around. Natalie is a great Mother and a wonderful example to everyone she meets.
I love that Natalie is a crazy goof ball just like the rest of us. She loves to have fun and plan activities with me. Some of the funniest times that happen around the dinner table is because of Nat. I'm so happy Travis married her and I can't imagine another person that fits with him and fits into our family so perfectly.
I love that I can call Nat with any questions and she always has an answer for me. She is exactly like and older sister and puts me in my place when I need to calm down. Thanks Nat for being so awesome and for putting up with Travis and the rest of us for 6 years. You are a trooper and I look forward to many more laughs with you. I love you and have a great birthday.

Col. Mustard in the Theatre with the Bat

Col. Mustard in the Theatre with the Bat is what I guessed when we played Clue on Friday night with our good friends George and Ashley. My guess was right, but Jer got back to the pool before me and guessed the same answer and he won.

This weekend was fun we played games with George and Ashley and got to see their cute house in Daybreak.
At least I won Jeremy in Ticket to ride!
On Saturday night I had a girls night with my BFF's from high school. It been like 3 years since we have all been together! Look how cute we all are! I'm so glad we are friends again. Love you girls.

We played Cruses and Shawn had to copy everything that McKenna did. We laughed all night and I can't wait until Feb. when we get to go see Beauty and the Beast.
