Cambree is here!

Cambree is here!
Cambree Ann Whitney came last Wednesday morning at 3:26am. She weighed 6.8 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is an absolute doll. She is very calm and and mild. She just makes little peeps every once in a while and that is about it as far as fussiness goes. She is so sweet and we love her very much.
I've posted a ton of pictures below of her, the birth, and the family. Also, our really good friend Tiffany Anderson documented the whole thing in a photo journal. She was awesome to work with and we recommend her to anyone who may be interested. Check out Cambree's birth story on Tiff's website too. Her website is http://www.tiffanyandersonblog.com/.

Now to our story.
Kelli started feeling some contractions on Monday night and they were very sparatic. Tuesday night came and she started getting worried because I was going to go to school that night and she was nervous being alone. She called her mom and dad and asked if they would come over to keep her company and help her out if she needed anything. Well, I didn't end going to school that night because Kelli's contractions started getting really consistent and really close. They went from 10 minutes apart to 5 minutes apart in about an hour and by the time we left home they were anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes apart. Below is Kelli and her parents waiting to go to the hospital. Her dad helped keep track on length of each of her contractions, he knew how long the contraction lasted because him and Kelli set up a plan, that she would stick her finger in her nose for the whole time the contraction lasted. They're pretty funny!

Here is Kelli checking in to the hospital.
Our nurse made Kelli delicious slushees while was in labor. Kelli didn't know it but she was having a huge contraction at this time.

Mom and Todd waiting with Kell.

Here she is.

Here's Tiff with Cambree. Tiff is so awesome. She's just like family and we're so happy she was able to be there with us.

Look at this knock out!I'm not going to lie, she is really cute.

This is the outfit she came home in.

I love her eyes.

First car ride in the blanket Annalisa made for us. Thanks Annalisa.

I just like the picture below. Squishy cheeks!

Another squishy cheeks pic.

She had to sit under lights for 3 days. She did so well! Fortunately, that's over now.

The two of us hanging out with Cam.

She would stick her legs and hands out while she was in there. It was pretty funny.

She already has Papa Scott wrapped around her fingers.

We've really loved having Cambree as part of our family and look forward to the great times we're going to have with her. It will be fun to see how she does with all of her boy cousins and rest of the family.

Ice Castles, Baby Carson and Baby bumps!

This is Dad and I after Carson was born. I was listening to everything that was going on when Jessica was having a baby to make sure that I could do what she was doing. And well... I started crying and told Dad that I don't think I could give birth and he took me down and got me a Dr. Pepper and Frito's! Thanks Dad for helping me relax.
Jeremy and I went up to midway to see Ice Castles. It was pretty cool, however the sun had started melting them so they were not as big as they once were.
It was pretty cool to see how someone can make these huge ice castles we even got to talk to the designer.

We will for sure be going back next year to see them when they are bigger and at night when they have the lights on them.

This is the best shot we got for my Prego week 31 picture. I hope you enjoy it.

Of course I had to make Jeremy take me to Dairy Keen! That is the best place to eat!

Adam and Baby Carson!!! Adam is trying to give me advice on being a parent.
Oh so Cute!! I can't wait for my Baby to be best friends with Carson!
I wanted to play with Shawn before she has her baby that is due on march 29th. We went to Mobetta's and Sub Zero for Ice Cream! Best Prego date ever! I'm glad Shana was there too, but some how I didn't get a picture with her. Sad news :( This is my 32 week prego picture.
On Saturday I hit week 33, but sadly no picture was taken. I have 7 more weeks and I'm hoping to go about 5 days late so that Jeremy can be done with finals before she comes. Can't wait to finally meet our baby girl!!

Happy Valentines/President's Day weekend!

This was actually last week's picture, but as you can tell my stomach is getting Ginormous!! My Dr. even told me to lay off the doughnuts! Sad news I thought pregnancy was an excuse to eat whatever I wanted, when I wanted!!
My Valentines Day was amazing! My husband ASKED me for a date, I thought that was the best part, he asked if he could take me out to dinner like we were dating again! He is so stinking cute! When I got home from work there were these flowers waiting for me on the table. He took me to one of my favorite places, TEXAS ROADHOUSE! Yummy, thanks Babe you're the best!
The weekend was great! We spent Saturday with my family and went and saw 7 brides for 7 brothers and then went to my parents and had pizza, played the Wii, and watched the slam dunk contest.
Monday was the best President's day ever! We went shopping up in Park City with my Mom and bought lots of cute things for Baby Girl Whitney. I can't wait to dress her up in so many cute clothes! It was fun to be in Park City with 2 awesome people and getting snowed on, I loved it.
Then we came home and I really wanted these bread sticks that my Mom used to make when we were little. So I got the recipe and I started into making bread sticks from scratch! I didn't think I could do it, but......

I did it and they turned out amazing and delicious just like my Mom's! I couldn't believe that I made bread sticks let alone dough from scratch, I had a lot of fun. I kept saying to Jeremy, "I made that I made the dough and every thing! I can't believe it, I'm amazing!" (Keep in mind this is a huge step for me, I mean I still don't know how to make tuna fish!)

Here are some cute clothes we got for her! The white Dress is a Blessing dress that my Mom got for Baby Girl! She is going to be so stinkin' cute!
Thanks for the GREAT weekend everyone!!

January updates

In December we went to McKenna's wedding and we had a great day. McKenna was a beautiful Bride and I'm so excited for her to have married such a great guy!
We went sledding, well Jeremy went sledding with his family and I watched.

Jeremy and I finally celebrated our anniversary and did what I have wanted to do for a long time now, GO SWIMMING!! We went to dinner and got really good ice cream and then stayed at the townplace suites at Thanksgiving Point.

I've wanted to go swimming really bad, but seriously I didn't know if I could be seen in public in a bathing suit right now. I figured we would be the only ones in the pool so it would be okay. Turns out that 2 other families from my work wanted to stay at the same hotel and go swimming at the same time. So I was a little embarrassed, but I got over it when I realized how good it felt to be swimming!
I guess this is my 24 week "belly" picture. I hate taking these kinds of pictures, I feel like a big dork just standing there.

This has nothing to do with updates, but I found this picture on my camera and I have no idea where it come from. I love this picture of Gage and if you or someone you knew took this picture, how did you get Gage to smile so big? He is stinkin' cute!

Have a Great Valentines weekend everyone!

Well, we finished up some winter projects over the last week or two. We were most excited to get the baby's room put together in anticipation for the little one to come. Below are some pictures of the crib and room. There are also some pictures of the kitchen and living room. It feels good to get the house put together. Anyway, enough blabbering.... Go ahead and take a look at some of the pictures.
Here is the crib..

Annnnnd the bedding..... Thanks Grandma Ann. It looks perfect!

We decided to go with red because it fits well with the bedding. Kelli doesn't know that it's really because the baby is going to want red because she's already a Ute fan.

Our living room. It's nice to finally have some pictures.

The kitchen with a fresh coat of green paint. We really like the way the green and white look together. Thanks Jo Jo and Grandma Ann for your help (Okay, for doing all of it).

The other side of the kitchen.

Thanks for taking a tour of the Whitney home. We hope you enjoyed the journey.

It's the Most Wonderful time of the Year!

Christmas time was a lot of fun this year. We were very busy with Family and putting our house together, but we sure enjoyed it! I also liked having Jeremy off school for 1 month to focus on nothing except having fun with me!!!We went and saw the lights downtown!
Made Chocolates with my Mom and Sister!

Here Katie is beating the candy until "it goes" (only my family will understand what that means)

Jeremy surprised me with a fun night out and took me to the Forgotten Carols!
Merry Christmas!!!

Christmas Morning excited to see what Santa Brought us!
Baby Girl got some awesome stuff. I can't believe that she is already so spoiled. She got Harley, U of U, and Jazz wear. She also got a very cute tutu dress, tons of cute outfits, she even got adorable and tiny accessories!! What a Cute Princess she is going to be!

I got a New Ipod, all 5 seasons of Saved by the Bell, the Glee albums, and much more!
Jeremy got new a mountain bike outfit, (I was told "it's not an outfit babe, it's gear") Wii games, movies, and more fun useful stuff.
We got so spoiled from both our families, not everything even fits in this picture!!!
We were very blessed this season and love everyone so much!!

Blow up this picture to see Baby's cute clothes! Complete with an AC DC onesie from Adam and Jess to match one for their baby!
I hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Years!
