Who is closed on a monday?

This restaurant is!!!
My Birthday was on Monday and my sweet husband surprised me and took the day off of work so that he could take me to my favorite place to eat, Maddox. We drove all the way to Brigham City all excited to eat the best rolls in the world, just to get up there to find out Maddox is closed on Sunday's and Monday's. What??? Who is closed on Monday's? That is so lame! I was so sad that I couldn't eat at this yummy, yummy place. However, I enjoyed the long drive with my cute sweet family and that was so nice of Jeremy to think to take me up there. We had to change plans and go eat at the pizza factory in Layton. It was delicious.
After Lunch we rested and then went up to the mountains to roast Hot dogs for dinner. What a pretty view of the valley! Thanks Jeremy for a great Birthday, I love you!!

Oh, did I mention my present? Jeremy got me this AWESOME camera that I have been wanting for years!! He got me the canon rebel XSi! I love it so much and I can't wait to take awesome pictures once Jen (my friend who is a professional photographer for Stampin' up) teaches me some good tips.
This is the first picture taken on my new camera! You're the best babe, I freaking love your guts!!

Cambree is now 6 weeks! That means I only have 6 more weeks then I go back to work. Sad face! Cambree started smiling on Saturday, but on my birthday she was all smiles! What a great birthday present to me!

Yesterday she got a cough and a stuffy nose. Feel better soon Cambree so we can see that beautiful smile of yours!

Jeremy's Day!

I like to think that everyday in June is my day because it's my birthday month (my mom might say I like to think my day is everyday of the year) but this year I thought I would be nice and give Jeremy one of my days to celebrate his graduation.
Tonight I made dinner and took Jeremy to the park where we met up with the rest of his family.
Cambree wanted to tell her daddy congrats too! (sorry picture is sideways)
She wore the cute outfit Daddy picked out last week.
Jeremy's family gave him a GREAT graduation present new golf clubs!! Now Jeremy can stop borrowing Jo-jo's clubs. We had to go hit a bucket of balls with everyone to try them out.

I'm so proud of my nephews they are all such great golfers! They really did such a great job and some of the balls went farther than mine could have gone.

They have cute little golf clubs and bags and that they carry around. They look like little professional golfers!

Ryken caring a bag
Jordan caring one as well.

The golf clubs didn't fit very well in my car so Jeremy made me sit in the back and the golf clubs got the front. Ann thought it was funny so she had to take a picture.

Thanks for a fun night everyone!! Jeremy I'm so proud of you for graduating and working so hard all these years. You are amazing and I love you so much, but most of all I love that you don't have to do anymore homework.

5 weeks old!

Cambree is now 5 weeks old!!!
She is getting so big, I think I'll have to pack up her newborn clothes this weekend. Sad face. Cambree is more awake and totally alert these days and is sleeps for 2 five hour stretches at night. She loves when we sing to her and she loves to eat. She is now about 8 pounds 9 oz with, a whole pound in 1 week!!! I better hurry and pull out the 0-3 months before she grows out of them.
Last weekend we went up to Park City for Todd's birthday celebration. Cambree, Jer, and I went up before hand and went shopping at the outlets and stopped by Olympic park. Then after dinner at cafe Rio with the clan we headed to the Marriott for swimming!!

Cambree got to hold the torch and show off some great skiing moves.

She is still working on holding her head up, but look how big she is!

Cambree and Dad hanging out outside in this beautiful weather!

We love you and your dainty-ness Cambree!!! Happy 5 weeks old!

P.S - Looking for fun stuff to do this summer. Anyone have any fun craft project ideas? Or anyone want to play? what to do, what to do all summer long?

4 weeks Biotin Deficiency

Cambree is 4 weeks now! I still love being her mother and I enjoy every second I have with her. She has grown so much she is almost out of her newborn clothes, she has about 1 pound left to go then we will have to switch to the next size up.
Cambree loves hanging out with her cousin's and can't wait to play with the big kids one day!
She is almost as big as her bear!!! This is her 4 week picture.

For Jeremy's graduation we went to Layton Surf and Swim with my family it was way fun and Cambree looked super cute in her swim suite attire!
What a fun family! She is for sure the cutest one!
Cambree is now 7 lbs .5 oz and is 20 inches long.
We had to take Cambree to a specialist this week because her newborn screening test came back abnormal. She has what is called Biotin Deficiency. This basically means that her body does not take the vitamins out of the food she eats. Because we were able to catch it so early, she won't have any side affects from this illness. So she has to a supplement (vitamin H) twice a day for the first year of her life and then once a week for the rest of her life. . We are okay with that considering the other scenarios that could have occurred. This deficiency occurs on average to 1 in every 60,000 people. After running some numbers this would mean that only 17 people in Salt Lake have what she has, 46 in Utah, 5,116 in the United States, and 111,620 in the world.
We are grateful that this was probably the best case scenario in her situation and for what she has. She has been so awesome and we just love her to death.

Cambree's first 2 weeks

We absolutely LOVE having Cambree as part of our family! She is such a joy and the perfect Baby. I look at here all day long and I still can't get enough of her. I love to watch her face when she sleeps, she makes such silly faces that just crack me up. We also love to listen to her she makes little noises that are so sweet and her whimpers just kill us. She is so stinkin' cute!! Jeremy and I can't believe the love you can have for something so tiny. She is a great sleeper at night, but I just don't have the courage to put her into her crib in her own room. Cambree is so patient with us, she is so clam when we change her clothes and outfits, when we give her a bath, and when we are putting her in her car seat. I appreciate how great Cambree has made the transition into parenthood. Thanks Cam we love you so much and we couldn't have asked for a better Baby! This is Cambree's 1st week photo, but the 2nd week one is sideways and I can't seem to figure out how to turn it to put it on the blog. So sorry you don't get to see it today.
Cambree's first bath at home in her very own tub.

Daddy and Cambree sleeping! I love to watch Jeremy be a father. He is so great with her and Cambree loves to see her Dad when he comes home from work, loves to take naps with him, and she LOVES when he changes her diapers!!

Cambree's first 5K for Charlie!
We Love you Cam, you are a rock star! Thanks for making our family amazing!!

Cambree is here!

Cambree is here!
Cambree Ann Whitney came last Wednesday morning at 3:26am. She weighed 6.8 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. She is an absolute doll. She is very calm and and mild. She just makes little peeps every once in a while and that is about it as far as fussiness goes. She is so sweet and we love her very much.
I've posted a ton of pictures below of her, the birth, and the family. Also, our really good friend Tiffany Anderson documented the whole thing in a photo journal. She was awesome to work with and we recommend her to anyone who may be interested. Check out Cambree's birth story on Tiff's website too. Her website is http://www.tiffanyandersonblog.com/.

Now to our story.
Kelli started feeling some contractions on Monday night and they were very sparatic. Tuesday night came and she started getting worried because I was going to go to school that night and she was nervous being alone. She called her mom and dad and asked if they would come over to keep her company and help her out if she needed anything. Well, I didn't end going to school that night because Kelli's contractions started getting really consistent and really close. They went from 10 minutes apart to 5 minutes apart in about an hour and by the time we left home they were anywhere from 3 to 5 minutes apart. Below is Kelli and her parents waiting to go to the hospital. Her dad helped keep track on length of each of her contractions, he knew how long the contraction lasted because him and Kelli set up a plan, that she would stick her finger in her nose for the whole time the contraction lasted. They're pretty funny!

Here is Kelli checking in to the hospital.
Our nurse made Kelli delicious slushees while was in labor. Kelli didn't know it but she was having a huge contraction at this time.

Mom and Todd waiting with Kell.

Here she is.

Here's Tiff with Cambree. Tiff is so awesome. She's just like family and we're so happy she was able to be there with us.

Look at this knock out!I'm not going to lie, she is really cute.

This is the outfit she came home in.

I love her eyes.

First car ride in the blanket Annalisa made for us. Thanks Annalisa.

I just like the picture below. Squishy cheeks!

Another squishy cheeks pic.

She had to sit under lights for 3 days. She did so well! Fortunately, that's over now.

The two of us hanging out with Cam.

She would stick her legs and hands out while she was in there. It was pretty funny.

She already has Papa Scott wrapped around her fingers.

We've really loved having Cambree as part of our family and look forward to the great times we're going to have with her. It will be fun to see how she does with all of her boy cousins and rest of the family.

Ice Castles, Baby Carson and Baby bumps!

This is Dad and I after Carson was born. I was listening to everything that was going on when Jessica was having a baby to make sure that I could do what she was doing. And well... I started crying and told Dad that I don't think I could give birth and he took me down and got me a Dr. Pepper and Frito's! Thanks Dad for helping me relax.
Jeremy and I went up to midway to see Ice Castles. It was pretty cool, however the sun had started melting them so they were not as big as they once were.
It was pretty cool to see how someone can make these huge ice castles we even got to talk to the designer.

We will for sure be going back next year to see them when they are bigger and at night when they have the lights on them.

This is the best shot we got for my Prego week 31 picture. I hope you enjoy it.

Of course I had to make Jeremy take me to Dairy Keen! That is the best place to eat!

Adam and Baby Carson!!! Adam is trying to give me advice on being a parent.
Oh so Cute!! I can't wait for my Baby to be best friends with Carson!
I wanted to play with Shawn before she has her baby that is due on march 29th. We went to Mobetta's and Sub Zero for Ice Cream! Best Prego date ever! I'm glad Shana was there too, but some how I didn't get a picture with her. Sad news :( This is my 32 week prego picture.
On Saturday I hit week 33, but sadly no picture was taken. I have 7 more weeks and I'm hoping to go about 5 days late so that Jeremy can be done with finals before she comes. Can't wait to finally meet our baby girl!!
