Halloween and 6 month stats

Finally a Halloween blog! I know I'm not the best blogger!

on 10/28/2010 Cambree celebrated her 1st half birthday! She can now eat real people food! I am making her baby food because regular baby food is so expensive! Anyone have any good tips?

She finally found the bear that sits next to her every month!
Jeremy surprised me with tickets to go see Thriller! It was the best show ever! I loved all the dancing and the zombie's at the beginning freaked me out!

Ann has an egore's pizza party ever year and this year I got Jeremy to wear something different than an orange shirt with a pumpkin face drawn on it! I was an 80's person Jeremy was an Astro's pitcher, and Cambree was a peacock!

During the party this guy ran in the house with his chainsaw going and scared the crap out of us! I pulled Ann on the floor and on top of me to protect me! It turned out this guy was not going to kill me it was just John Fitch trying to freak me out and it worked!

Miranda is going to cut my head off!

I hope everyone had a great Halloween! I sure did!

Amazing Cambree

Cambree is now 6 months old! (pictures of that to come soon).

She is just simply amazing and we love her so much! She is still so patient with us as we are still learning how to be parents. I have now gone 6 months without Dairy products and it has helped Cambree's stomach not be so sensitive. Cambree is such a big girl now. She totally sits up on her own, rolls over, laughs, gets really excited when she see's Daddy, and just loves life! She still loves to jump in her jump-a-roo and goes crazy in it! Daddy has taught her a new trick to shake her head back and forth like she is saying "no" she does this all the time and smiles the whole time. I just can't get over how much I love her and how much joy she brings to our lives. She wants anything that we have in our hands, the remote and cell phones are her favorite toys. When she plays with her rattle she hits herself in the head and she will have red marks on her head and face. When she plays with other toys and shakes them she closes her eyes and opens her mouth like it's also going to hurt. She loves taking a bath and is about the happiest baby in the world after she is done with it.

I want to turn these pictures black and white, make them big, and hang them in the bathroom.
Don't mind that you can see Jeremy and I in the mirror, we will photoshop these later! Just look at Cambree she is the cute one!

It's also that time of year to interrupt marriages for Football season! Good thing I like football too! Jeremy is very grateful that my family raised me to understand that yes, men watch ALOT of football so just kick back enjoy it!

This month we were also able to go down to St. George to visit Jeremy's Grandparents. These two are the most positive people on the face of the earth (now I know where Jeremy gets it from). They are so sweet and kept talking about how perfect Cambree is and kept telling Jeremy that he is the luckest man to have the two of us. Grandpa is so funny and you can tell is just loves to make people laugh. The short time that I spent with them made me want to be nicer to people and to let others now how special they are! So to all who are reading this as Grandpa would say, "Call me later and I'll tell ya how great you are!"

On the way home we decided to take a detour and go up to Brian Head to see some pretty sites!

5 months and other updates

I was a bad wife and got tickets to The Lion King on the same night as the first Utah game. Sorry Jer. We went out to the cheesecake factory before the show! Yummy! Thanks Chris and Annalisa for the gift card!

Seriously this is the best show I've ever seen!

Who are you? Who are you? Just like that!

These past couple of weeks I have been in kinda a funk! I have felt not so good about myself. I feel like all I do is cook, clean, calm an upset child, and repeat. Doing this all day everyday makes me feel like I don't accomplish anything. The house is still messy, Cambree still cries, and my fridge is always empty. I have also felt sad because I miss all my old friends living so far away from Bountiful makes it hard to keep in touch with all of them. I miss living close to my family and now I have to plan to go visit them and basically make a day out of going up to Bountiful.

I really needed something that made me realize that people do like me and appreciate what I do. (does that sound selfish?)

First of all the fact that this person is healthy and has made it 5 months makes me feel like a good Mom.

Then last Friday when I got home from work I found this on my doorstep!

A nice note that says, "Dearest Kelli (without an e) Happy Friday! We love you. Thank you for being you!" With a cute necklace and matching earrings! How did these people know how much I needed this note? This is seriously so nice of someone to do for me! It also reminds that if I see someone in a funk around me I can do something so simply like this and make them feel better. This seriously made me cry! So hear I sit with a dopey look on my face saying "who are you? Who are you? Just like that!" Thank you to whoever did this!
If that wasn't enough I also found this on my doorstep this week.
It's from the Relief Society Presidency. What a sweet note from them! This was also a great pick me up!

Then yesterday at work I got these beautiful flowers delivered to me from my sweet hubby! Then when I got home he had the house cleaned and dinner ready!
I'm so blessed that Jeremy is my husband! He is so good to me and tells me all the time how much he appreciates me and what a great Mom I am to Cambree!

This post might sound selfish, but I needed to document the last week so when I get into another funk I can have something to remind myself that I am appreciated. Thanks to my Angels this week who helped me remember who I really am!

Whitney reservoir

The first weekend in August we went camping with Jeremy's Dad and brothers to Whitney reservoir. We went fishing, ate like champs, got rained on, nick taught me how to juggle, and we all tired out our sling shot skills!

Fun times!

I was so worried about Cambree staying warm in the night so I dressed her up in 3 warm pajamas and put a burp rag and hat on her head to help keen in the warmth! She looks silly, but she didn't wake up once in the night.
Cambree's boy cousins she do love her! I love seeing them want to hold her and act to gentle with her. They are going to protect Cambree all through her life. 6 older guy cousins, I wouldn't want to be the guy that makes her cry!

He brought me and his Mom back some "flowers" from their hike! How sweet of him.

Poor reservoir fish we caught a lot of them! Fishing makes me sad, but it's exciting to reel them in. . sad face.

Thanks for the fun camping trip, but really next time can we just stay in a Marriott?

4 month stats

Cambree is now 4 months old!!!

She can roll from her belly to her back, well it's more like she falls over. She talks non-stop (wonder who she got that from), plays with her toys, grabs anything and puts it directly into her mouth. She loves her jump-a-rook, excer saucer, and binky. She is a BIG fan of her Dad and smiles every time he gets home from work. Cambree is full of energy and we love having her in our family. She is growing great and taking her biotin AND keeping it down.

Did I mention she LOVES her dad?

Cambree's 4 month birthday was on Ute fan day!
