UTAH... THIS IS THE PLACE

"Utah, people working together. Utah, What a great place to be. You can go anywhere, but there is none that compare this is the place."

When these words are sung by off tune, screaming 4th graders it brings happiness to my heart. If you were once a 4th grader here in Utah you too must feel the way that I do. The Utah program that is put on by 4th graders all across the State is the best Elementary/Jr. High program I have ever been a part of. I still remember all the words to every song they sing and I love to sing them at the top of my lungs. I was so sad the day my 4th grade program was over because I loved those songs so much I just wanted to perform them all the time. (I believe this is where my love of performing started). Well luckily my awesome Mom is a 4th grade teacher and I get to relive that program once every year. My Mom always asks me if I can come help her out and while she thinks I'm doing her a favor she is really doing me the favor.

Tonight was the night of the big production. The kids were great! They made me laugh so hard. I was not let down by this years group. I was able to get my 2 favorite songs on video while I was helping my Mom out.

This one is called Iron Wheels. While I didn't get to perform this one in my own production (stupid Mrs. Haglock's class) I just love the words and the beat! CHOO CHOO! After this song my Mom blows a train whistle for like 10 minutes, it made me giggle!

This next song made me never forget the 29 counties that we have here in Utah. This one was my favorite and I got to hold up the Wayne sign when I was in it. Yes, I still think DAVIS is the best of all.

Thanks Mom for letting me be a part of this ever year. But next year, I get to switch up some choreography and update the John Stockton and 80's pictures that you use on your slide show!

I LOVE UTAH!

Boomer....you are a goof ball. Very few people on this PLANET go to school programs unless they are watching someone with whom they share DNA.......and even they don't go willingly! Anni is in 4th grade. I will be sure you get an invite to the big event.

Yeah for school productions! You're a far better daughter than I. I haven't been to a single 5th grade production put on by my mom's class, or one of the 4th grade productions put on by your mom's class..and I don't really feel sad about it!

Great Job, Jo! Congrats on a great show, and making your daughter giddy!

Kelli you are crazy! And that is why I love you! I never got to do this production when I was in school! I'm guess i'm just too old! My kids loved it, and on the way home from last nights events, mykelle told me she wanted to be in 4th grade so she could be in a play!

what the crap is a 4th grade program....are you High??? i think this is a made up thing. I did nothing of the sort in 4th grade. All i did was try to figure out how I was going to buy a Nintendo or where I was going to play someone else's Nintendo.
