If any of you know the Whitney's you know that for 3 generations there has only been boys born into the family. Last night we found out that we broke the chain and we are having the 1st GIRL!!! Yay! Jeremy and I are really excited and can't wait to meet our beautiful Princess. She was moving around a lot and it was so awesome to see her little face, legs, arms, and everything else. She looks really healthy and is growing just perfect.
It's so nice to know what we are finally having. Now I can get the nursery started! I can't wait to dress her up, take her shopping, and do all sorts of Girly things with her. However, My mom has cursed me with a child just like me and if any one knows how I acted as a little Girl knows why I'm a little nervous for what I have in store for me.

That is awesome. I always had a feeling that Jeremy would have the first girl. I bet Ann is so excited. Congrats to you both. You will be great parents. Can't wait to meet her.

Congrats! I am way excited for you guys!! Let us know if you want to borrow any girl clothes! I know you will get a ton for the first several months, but after that stash runs out let us know! Our are just sitting in our basement and we definitely won't need them!

Kelly, pish posh about being fat. You will regret not taking them and documenting every step along the way. I promise you forget all the cute and not so cute details. Besides your little girl will be asking you when she has her first baby how you felt and what you looked like and if this is all normal.
Ok, this gives me hope. I actually wanted our first to be a girl, so that I would be guaranteed at least one girl right from the beginning. Steve's sister is the only girl for GENERATIONS in the Barnes family. His sister might have stolen the chance for us to have a girl, haha. Obviously I'm glad we had a boy, because he is the love of my life (don't tell Steve), and since I never had an older brother I'm excited to start out with a boy. Boys are SO fun, with their rough-and-tumble play. Girls are way more fun to dress and buy toys for though. I better get at least one girl. I'm so excited for you guys!
